ReadySet Skills Curriculum.
ReadySet Skills is designed to reinforce and review the key concepts of the grade-level curriculum, giving educators the real-time assessment data they need to monitor and adjust instruction for maximum student benefit. This researched-based program assists teachers in making data-informed immediate and long-term teaching decisions, implementing student-centered teaching, promoting student interaction and engagement, aligning technology with the curriculum, and crafting workable Response to Intervention (RTI) programs.
ReadySet Skills meets the needs of data-driven instruction. Instructional activities and assessments address the skills and processes necessary for student improvement on state-mandated tests. Packages consist of a pretest, posttest, and lessons with questions, answers, and explanations that target the specific skills.
Test, Target, & Track Student Progress.
Test using Assessment Tools: Assessment tools identify struggling students quickly for early intervention with curriculum.
Data-Driven Instruction Target: Curriculum and interactive learning objects spark interest and motivate students, creating a highly interactive environment. Immediate feedback and tracking allow adaptive teaching practices, targeted instruction, and formative assessment practices.
Track Student Progress: Comprehensive reporting allows educators to track performance daily, weekly, and yearly.
PRETEST: Each curriculum package begins with a pretest, providing teachers with a quick and complete evaluation of previously attained knowledge and student mastery of key concepts.
INSTRUCTION: Access hundreds of mini-lessons ranging from 15–20 minutes in length. Students learn through assessment questions, interactive multi-media, explanations, and examples.
POSTTEST: Each curriculum package ends with a posttest which includes the essential skills found on state exams. Given prior to the state exam, educators still have time to tailor instruction to help students with any specific area of need.
- Pre and Posttests are patterned to mimic individual state tests in length, difficulty, and number of questions.
- Practice tests help students familiarize themselves with terminology and strategies needed to be successful on the state exams.
